Parkway-Rockwood Adult Education and Literacy
The Parkway-Rockwood Adult Education and Literacy Program, established in 1969, offers free Adult Basic Education, High School Equivalency Test Prep classes, English as a Second Language, and Citizenship classes. Serving over 1,000 adult students annually, more than half of whom are ESL learners, the program is available to individuals from various school districts without residency requirements.
Funded by federal and state resources, the program is administered in cooperation with local school districts and has been recognized as a STAR Program by the Missouri Adult Education and Literacy Section. Its mission is to enhance educational opportunities and support transitions to further education or employment for adult learners.
