Solutia traces its roots back to 1901 and the founding of the Monsanto Company. Solutia was founded in 1997 as a spin-off company of Monsanto for the purpose of developing specialty chemicals. Solutia s products are produced in four categories that include films and glass products, such as automotive glass and residential windows; nylon, which includes carpet and nylon polymers and plastics; pharmaceutical services; and specialty products, such as heat transfer fluids, aviation hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents. Solutia carries out its operations through approximately 60 locations in more than 30 countries. The company employs nearly 6,000 people at these sites. Solutia maintains its headquarters in St. Louis.

ICL Performance Products is a provider of phosphoric acid and phosphate salts for clients in the food service, pharmaceuticals and technical industries. The company also supplies phosphorus chemicals and related derivative products that have applications in baked goods, beverages, cleaning products, water treatment and semiconductors.
