Welcome to the Old Caledonian Bed & Breakfast! We are located 80 minutes south of St. Louis in the Village of Caledonia, Missouri. We are minutes away from Elephant Rocks State Park, Johnson Shut-Ins, and the Battle of Pilot Knob State Historic Site. We are renowned for our historic home, vintage luxury, top-notch hospitality, wellness amenities, and exceptional full breakfasts. Teatimes and three-course dinners can be added to your reservation. The Old Caledonian Bed & Breakfast resides in an 1849 brick mansion, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, on four grass and wood-lined acres right on Main Street in Caledonia. Our spacious house and beautiful guest rooms offer vintage luxury and the comfort of triple-sheeted bedding and en-suite baths. A selection of beers and wines are available, and we feature wines from some of our nearby wineries. Enjoy our outdoor hot tub and barrel sauna. Relax on our patio or in our spacious gazebo by the koi pond and enjoy the country air! We also have a small farm on site. Depending on who's in or out of the barn, you may see goats, sheep, ducks, geese, turkeys, and peacocks. You will also see the chickens that have provided the eggs for your breakfast! A few of the birds have access to the whole property, so don't be surprised if you cross paths with a peacock!
