Northwest School District

The Northwest R-I School District operates through its custodial, finance, curriculum and instruction, human resources, information technology, maintenance, transportation and food service departments. It maintains various elementary, intermediate and high schools and provides educational opportunities for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school district s curriculum features math, science, reading, writing and computer studies. The Northwest R-I School District supports the National Honor Society. Its schools participate in a range of sports activities, including golf, wrestling, volleyball, soccer and softball. The school district maintains art, chess, risk, scrabble, jazz and band clubs.
