Niraj Chavan, MD

Dr Cherie LeFevre specializes in treating vulvar and vaginal disorders, and is the founder and director of the SLUCare Vulvar, Vaginal Disorder Specialty Center. Dr LeFevre is a professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health, Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr LeFevre has received national recognition for her work. She is a recipient of the Women’s Health Research Award for “Telephone Triage: Diagnosis of Candidiasis Based on Self-reported Vulvovaginal Symptoms,” from the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.

Kate Appleton, MD, is a fellowship-trained breast radiologist. She completed a seven-year combined BS/MD program at the University of Florida where she earned her medical degree with research honors. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency and breast imaging fellowship at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Practicing since 2006 as a board-certified radiologist, Dr. Appleton has special interests in breast cancer screening/diagnosis and image-guided interventional breast procedures/biopsies. She has published more than 25 peer-reviewed articles, a breast imaging book, and is a contributing author in "A Women's Decision," a guidebook for patients facing breast cancer.

Dr Alex Hubb is a female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgeon specializing in urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, childbirth trauma, and other pelvic floor disorders. He provides personalized, compassionate urogynecology services, taking time to evaluate and discuss these sensitive issues with patients. These disorders can all be treated, and no woman should have to suffer. Dr Hubb uses the latest techniques, including non-mesh and mesh-augmented surgery for prolapse; interstim sacral nerve stimulation, bladder Botox injections, and midurethral sling procedures for urinary incontinence; advanced treatment of accidental bowel leakage, including anal sphincter repair and interstim sacral nerve stimulation.
