Alongside the Current River, this low-key, year-round resort inside Montauk State Park is a 4-minute walk from the 19th-century Montauk Mill and 14 miles from the town of Licking. Accessed via exterior entrances, the simple rooms in the main lodge offer cable TV and en suite bathrooms with showers. Rustic 1- to 3-bedroom cabins add kitchens, fireplaces and/or pull-out sofas. Amenities include an informal restaurant and a snack bar, as well as a bait shop, a picnic area and hiking trails. Campsites are also available.
