The Randolph County Health Department provides a wide range of personal health services for families, children, women and senior citizens. The department works with a team of nursing, social work, environmental, health education, physician, laboratory and clerical support staff members. The Randolph County Health Department conducts Inspection services of restaurants, taverns, hotels, motels, commercial food preparation areas, hospitals, schools, day cares and swimming pools. The department also provides food and water testing, as well as communicable disease surveillance and investigation services. It administers health education prograsm that include cardio-pulmonary resuscitation classes, tobacco prevention, smoking cessation, work-site wellness and day care nurse consultation services.
