Not being able to accept this as their own reality, they decided there must be a way to bring the features and quality of high end homes down to a more modest and affordable price point. They realized that not everyone who would appreciate a high end custom home would need to live on a golf course or have a 7, 000 square feet home with 6 bedrooms.Now that there was a clear goal in mind, this husband and wife team had to develop a game plan. He felt like he could satisfy his need for creativity through the design process and that his penchant for perfection would serve him well in the construction process. She knew that the years she spent working as a Certified Public Accountant would serve her well as they tracked costs and tried to bring the projects in within budget and at a modest price. They knew there would be years of hard work and long hours.Without looking back, they jumped off into the deep end, both giving up their safe and secure careers. Every ounce of energy and creativity went into building that first home. When they finally looked up, the results were amazing. Their first home was awarded the American Dream Grand Award.
