Mike & Zack's BBQ To Go, located in Poplar Bluff, MO, was founded by Mike Clark and Bud Furguson, who gained early acclaim by winning Grand Champion at the Black River Festival BBQ Cook-off in 1989 and 1990. Their accolades continued with a Grand Championship win in shoulder at the Memphis in May World Championship BBQ Cooking Contest in 1993, which led to an impressive performance at the Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational BBQ Contest, where they secured 1st place in Chicken.

Best BBQ in Poplar Bluff. Sweet with a small bit of heat and tang. Nice little hole in the wall. The display of awards and trophies from winning cook offs is impressive. Small dining area.

Amazing people, great food, terrific place. Best bbq in poplar bluff and in the area. Just a wonderful time with my family! Cool trophy's everywhere and wonderful bbq. A must try if around here
