Mid-America Transplant

Mid-America Transplant Services is a community-based nonprofit organization that offers vital organ procurement coordination services for health care providers and individuals throughout southern Illinois, eastern Missouri and northeastern Arkansas. It has a staff of more than 90 employees that includes physicians, nurses, medical technicians, community relation managers, pastoral counselors, social workers and support staff members. Mid-America Transplant Services recovers and distributes organs and tissues for transplantation and research, as well as provides a range of professional and educational programs for public awareness. Additionally, it conducts various campaigns to encourage individuals for organ donations. Mid-America Transplant Services maintains a location in St. Louis.
