Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Dr Nguyen is a first-generation Vietnamese-American. His parents escaped from communist Vietnam in 1980 just a few years after the end of the Vietnam war. Fortunate enough to have the opportunity to start a new life in America after enduring the tragedies of a devastating war, his parents passed along the value of education, hard work, compassion for those less fortunate, and never taking anything for granted. Brought up with these values, Dr Nguyen earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Kansas in Lawrence and Kansas City.

Dr Martin is board certified and specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery. His interests include hand surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, and body contouring.
