About Our Business In 1983, Robert McMahon opened McMahon's Auto Diesel Repair after graduating from Nashville Auto Diesel College. Having grown up around the Automotive Industry at his fathers service station as a child and the family trucking business, he decided to give it a try on his own.Not really interested in owning a trucking company, Robert's brother, William T McMahon Jr., took over the family trucking business. Instead Robert chose to provide a towing service to go along with the Repair Shop.With the guidance of his father, William T McMahon Sr, and the help and support of his wife Karen, they built the business to what it is today after more than 31 years of operation.
