Launched in 1995, UPN is a television network owned by CBS Corporation. It was a joint venture between Chris-Craft Industries' United Television and Paramount Pictures. It broadcasts various programs, including reality series America's Next Top Model and Everybody Hates Chris. The programs of UPN are broadcast by more than 140 stations and more than 60 stations broadcasts its shows as secondary affiliates. It also broadcasts various children s programs and television movies. Its programs include Iron Chef USA, WWE's SmackDown show, Girlfriends and Veronica Mars. Its program for kids is known as the UPNKids. It also publishes an online encyclopedia of information about the United Paramount Network. It is located in Springfield, Mo.
