Physicians at SSM Health Medical Group, located in suite 500 of the 1035 building at St. Mary’s Hospital, provide rheumatology services, minor outpatient procedures as well as office consultations for surgery. We commonly consult with patients interested in colon and rectal surgery, reconstructive breast surgery and thoracic surgery.

Dr. Abdalla Hassan is a cardiovascular disease physician who specializes in interventional and advanced structural cardiology for patients ages 18 and older. He treats and manages various heart conditions, including complex coronary artery disease; valvular heart disease; atrial fibrillation; congenital heart disease; hypertension; hyperlipidemia; and structural heart disease. He also offers an array of minimally invasive treatment options for most valvular and coronary artery diseases. Dr. Hassan is an assistant professor with the Division of Cardiovascular in the Department of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Laurie Giltner, FNP, sees patients of all ages for a variety of primary care needs, including wellness visits, weight management, vaccinations, PAP smears, and mental health management. She also provides care for common illnesses, including hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and hyperlipidemia. Laurie chose to specialize in family medicine because she enjoys working with patients of all ages. She strives to provide patient-centered care and focuses on treating the whole person to promote optimal physical and mental well-being.
