Kristen Rowe, MD

Schallert earned her bachelor's of science degree in nursing from Saint Louis University in 2007 and then worked concurrently in a St. Louis area hospital emergency department and at University Hospital in Columbia while working on her FNP (family nurse practitioner) degree at Saint Louis University. Schallert's accreditations include: basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE), trauma nursing core course (TNCC), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS), as well as competencies in electronic charting. She is currently a volunteer with the St. Louis Society for Children and Adults with Physical Disabilities and with Variety Club.

Erin Vaughn, APRN, CPNP, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care services for patients from birth to 21 years old. Her pediatric services include general checkups; annual well-child exams; acute/sick exams; chronic disease management; special needs support; and breastfeeding education. She is particularly focused on newborn and pediatric growth and development as well as pediatric acute illnesses. She also has extensive experience working in pediatric emergency medicine, trauma, and urgent care settings. Erin strives to provide personal, professional, and individualized care for all her patients and their families.

This physician is affiliated with SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Dr. Austin completed medical school and residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she was the American Academy of Pediatrics Resident of the Year. She completed her undergraduate training in biology at Missouri State University, where she graduated magna cum laude in the Honors College. Dr. Austin has been practicing pediatric medicine since 2002. She was in private practice in Washington State for three years and then joined a practice in Jefferson City to be closer to family. She practiced in Jefferson City for seven years and most recently worked in a pediatric urgent care in Kansas City while her husband completed dental school.
