Kickapoo High School

Kickapoo High School, located in Springfield, Mo., is a public school that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,700 students and offers subjects, such as English literature, foreign language, algebra, math analysis, trigonometry, general chemistry, physics, biology, anatomy and physiology, economics, calculus, psychology, American history, European history and statistics. The school is one of the largest high schools in the city and offers honors and advanced placement courses, independent studies, an orthopedic handicapped program and a learning resource center for special-needs students. The school additionally offers various sports activities, including cross country, golf, soccer, football, softball, volleyball, tennis, swimming, basketball, wrestling, baseball and track. The institution is affiliated with the Springfield R-XII District.
