The Black Archives of Mid-America in Kansas City is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history and contributions of African Americans in the region. Its permanent exhibit, "With My Eyes No Longer Blind," traces the narrative of African Americans from the era of the Lewis and Clark expedition to the mayorship of Emanuel Cleaver II.
