Kansas City Diversity Coalition (KCDC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating leadership and coalition building for the empowerment of LGBTQIA individuals in the Kansas City area. Through overseeing LGBTQIA events, fundraisers, community outreach, and educational symposiums, KCDC aims to promote diversity and inclusion within the community.
Formed through the merger of the LGCCKC Lesbian and Gay Community Center and Show Me Pride, LLC, KCDC continues to organize the annual Kansas City PrideFest and other initiatives that celebrate and support the LGBTQIA community. Despite potential delays in meeting minutes due to the Covid-19 pandemic, KCDC remains committed to advocating for equality and representation for all individuals.
