Founded in 1891, the Joplin Family YMCA has a presence in Joplin, Mo. The organization operates school-age child care and activities in more than 10 schools. The Y is only too busy if you go at peak times (like every other gym in the world)! I went over at 2pm and had the weight room to myself. I was traveling through Joplin and wanted a place to work...
