I try to reassure patients by having open lines of communication and having a trusting relationship with the parents and myself. And just letting them know that they can ask questions and contact me anytime, so we can have the best relationship and treat that child the best that we can.

I like the opportunity to help kids have the healthiest childhoods and set them up for the healthiest adulthoods. When parents bring their kids in for the first visit, I like to spend time getting to know the whole family. It's important to get to know parents and their kids as people.

Something I want people to know about me and my practice is that we really are lucky and very fortunate to have such a vast network of resources and experts at our fingertips, so many people that not only are complete experts in their field but have such a passion for caring for children and caring for patients. Just having those people around us to make sure that their kids gets the best possible quality of care is a thing that I think is really special.
