Jefferson College offers academic programs to more than 9,000 students. It has various departments that provide classes in criminal justice, economics, foreign languages, journalism, mathematics, music and theater. The college also provides associate degree and certificate programs in business management, computer information systems, and accounting, telecommunications and automotive technologies. Its campus, located in Hillsboro, Mo., spreads over an area of more than 480-acre and has science labs, lecture hall, learning and assessment center, bookstore, conference room and a student lounge. The college has facilities for various sports, including baseball, basketball, golf, skating, track and swimming. Additionally, it organizes field trips, seminars, workshops and conferences and provides career counseling, financial assistance and support services. Jefferson College is administered by the Junior College District of Jefferson County.

If you have a disability this is not a good school. The school just gives you the run around. If you need help, go to the help center. A lot of people with disabilities need more help.

East Central College

Founded in 1968, East Central College serves the educational needs of the people in east central Missouri. The college has various academic departments, such as accounting, adult basic education, air conditioning, anthropology, art, auto technology, biology, building construction and business. It also has extended campuses, such as Rolla Technical Center, Southwest Area Center, Four Rivers Career Center and Central Methodist-Union Adult.
