Samantha chose to specialize in orthopedics because treatments can help alleviate pain, restore function, and improve patients' quality of life. Her goal is to treat the patient as a whole, not just the condition. Samantha is originally from St. Louis and lives in St. Charles with her family. Christine C. Piper, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow conditions. She treats adolescents and adults ages 13 years and older. Dr. Piper treats various conditions, including but not limited to shoulder arthritis, rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, frozen shoulder, acute fractures, nerve entrapment and tendinitis. She performs arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and shoulder stabilization surgery, cubital and carpal tunnel releases, total shoulder replacements and fracture repair.
