In 2002, Serve Link added Lifeline Services to its patient care products and services. Lifeline supports independent living by allowing patients to get emergency assistance when they need at the touch of a button. In 2011, Serve Link opened a branch office in Brookfield as part of its acquisition of Pershing Health System's Home Health and Hospice programs. While Serve Link no longer provides Hospice care services, we continue to offer home health services through the branch office location for Linn, Chariton and Macon Counties. Our first store originally opened in Chillicothe, Missouri, when Ken & Brenda Lauhoff went into the jewelry business in 1976. During that time, they raised three children and are now active with six grandchildren. Their son, Darren, and his wife, Angie, opened a Trenton, Missouri, store in 2000. The Lauhoffs travel to Antwerp, Belgium, personally to select the highest quality diamonds for their stores. That extra effort and special care are trademarks of the Lauhoff Jewelry family tradition.
