Homecare of Mid-Missouri

Established in 1974, Homecare of Mid-Missouri is based in Moberly, Mo. It is a multiservice home care agency serving more than 30 counties in the state. The agency offers a variety of facilities and services, such as in-home services, assistance with daily activities, and personal and respite care services. It also offers services through the city s department of health and senior services and Medicare programs, including authorized nurse visits for the non-home bound clients. Homecare of Mid-Missouri also provides 24-hour direct care for private pay clients. The agency s medical care services include physical, occupational and speech therapies, wound care, medication management and nutrition support.

The Center for Human Services is the umbrella title under which three program areas provide services for children and adults with disabilities. Its childcare program includes a variety of services for income-eligible families, including home visits, help with accessing community services and information for parents on child development. The employment services program offers job training, job placement and rehabilitation services to people with disabilities. The community living program consists of community integration services, such as day habilitation; supported living facilities; and community housing in the form of group homes and apartments. These services are available to disabled people in Pettis, Saline and Moniteau counties in Missouri.
