Our hobby breeding business is for breeding AKC Miniature Long Haired Dachshunds. They are of the unique and diluted colors such as EE Creams, Chocolate/Cream dapples, Black/Cream Dapples, Red Piebald, Chocolate/Cream Dappled Piebald, Cream Brindle and soon Shaded Cream. Our dogs are part of our family. When we have puppies, they are raised in our home with us and with lots of love and affection. I never crate them and are always being played with. The puppies are born upstairs in our room and stay there with their mom until they are about 2 1/2 weeks old, then they are brought downstairs to roam the living room with everyone else. We start potty training them with puppy pads once they are brought downstairs. They are always up to date on worming which is done 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age, they will also get 2 sets of shots before ever leaving our home.
