Gentry Middle School

Founded in 1839, the University of Missouri is one of the leading educational institutes and public research universities in Columbia, Mo. With recognition in teaching and research, it is the flagship campus of the four-campus University of Missouri System. The University offers more than 286 degree programs, which include 40 online degree options. More than 30,000 students from every county in Missouri and all over the world enroll for admissions. Harrisburg Elementary School provides educational classes to more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers academic education in various subjects, such as reading, math, English as a Second Language, social science, science and English. Harrisburg Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that provides planning and implementation of a variety of fundraising activities for the benefit of the school and students. The school has a library media center that offers a variety of print and electronic databases to assist students in the learning process.
