MFEC uses imagination to deliver innovative mechanical and electrical engineering solutions to their clients. This unique approach to engineering has been the main focus since the firm was originally founded as Malone and Associates in 1981 by Mark Malone. Since our inception, we have provided mechanical and electrical engineering services to clients located all across the United States. Our firm has experienced significant growth since we opened our 1st office in Manhattan, Kansas with just two employees. Since then we have witnessed an average growth of 15% each year. In 1988, Rod Finkle became a partner of the firm and a new Malone Finkle headquarters office was opened in Springfield, Missouri. 1985 marked a new era for the firm when CAD systems were introduced and engineering staff began to complete both full design and drafting of projects. This model holds true today and has allowed us to provide leadership to other firms and remain at the top of the industry in profitability and efficiency. In 1998, long-time employees Jon Eckhardt and Cameron Collins joined Malone and Finkle as partners and the firm became Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins. Our firm has never lost sight of our values and continues to grow. In recent years, Terry Maskil, Jennifer Luce, and Mike Thome have been named partners of MFEC and in 2000, we opened another office in Overland Park, Kansas to support our continued growth and expansion. While there have been changes over the years, the firm's mission has stayed the same: provide clients with a vision, using our imagination and expertise.
