Dr Angela Sanford works with older adults, specializing in geriatric syndromes such as falls, weight loss, and memory impairment. She performs comprehensive geriatric assessment to evaluate medication for polypharmacy, past medical history, social/family history, and driving experience. She also administers screening tests for memory impairment and depression. Dr Sanfords work is designed to promote optimal health and functioning in elderly patients.Her research interests include collaboration with orthopedics to develop a project regarding best practices in treating elderly patients with hip fractures.

SLUCare Infectious Disease specialists are renowned physicians, educators and researchers, fighting illnesses on three fronts: in our outpatient clinic, in hospitals and in the research lab. These experts are researchers with the National Institutes of Health Vaccine and Treatment Evaluation Unit (VTEU) at Saint Louis University School of Medicine one of nine such centers in the United States.

Dr. Hany Elbeshbeshy specializes in liver transplant services and treatment of advanced liver diseases, including liver cancer, cirrhosis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NASH). He also provides pre- and post-liver transplant care in both hospital and clinic settings. Dr. Elbeshbeshy works with other specialists to provide a team approach to liver cancer patients seeking a cure.Dr. Elbeshbeshy is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.He holds memberships in the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease and the American College of Physicians.
