East MO Action Agency Inc

East Missouri Action Agency is a community action agency established in 1965, under the authority of the Economic Opportunity Act. Located in Park Hills, Mo., it is a nonprofit corporation governed by a 24-member board of directors. The agency s service area includes Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Iron, Madison, Perry, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve and Washington counties in Illinois. East Missouri Action Agency offers various programs, such as family intake, assessment and referral, community outreach, emergency assistance, family support, and self-help programs. It has a staff of more than 200 full- and part-time employees who provide services to over 18,000 low-income individuals every year.
