We started treating your downtown dogs as family in Soulard as Dog-Gone Furbabyz before moving to our larger facility on Delmar Blvd close to the City Museum. Our name now reflects the love for the area we serve, Downtown Dogs StL.
Downtown Dogs StL was formerly known as Dog-Gone Furbabyz which was established in 2008. Located in Soulard, Shanna and her team offered the only cage-free doggie daycare in the Downtown St. Louis area. As their reputation for providing great care grew, so did the business, quickly outgrowing their space. In 2010, they expanded the play area to 3,750 square feet and moved to the Downtown Loft district of St. Louis. In 2012, Randy and Jeanna Roderick started taking Rally, their Morkie, to the daycare. They immediately knew they wanted to be part of the great team, and became the owners of Downtown Dogs StL March of 2013. Downtown Dogs StL continues to provide the largest, open play doggie daycare in the city, offering early morning and late hours to accommodate the schedules of their faithful clients. Grooming and overnight Lodging are also offered. Downtown Dogs StL is committed to providing the highest quality group play daycare, grooming and lodging available in downtown St.
