Carol assists the agency's producers in locating markets for commercial insurance risks. Dave has been with Scott Agency, Inc since April, 1986. He is a native of Montgomery County, and attended Moberly Area Jr. College and the University of Missouri. He is a licensed Missouri insurance agent and works with both Business and Personal Insurance, as well as Crop Insurance, Individual and Group Medical and Life Insurance programs. CJ ( Carol ) is responsible for payroll, and all accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prior to joining Scott Agency, Inc in August, 2000, she worked as a bookkeeper for over 12 years. Cheryl L Fort Claims Customer Service Cheryl moved to the Montgomery City area and joined the staff of Scott Agency, Inc in May, 1986, with two years prior insurance experience. She obtained her Missouri insurance agent license in March, 1991. Cheryl is our claims customer service representative and her duties include processing and monitoring customer's claims. She is a graduate of Gem City Business College. Tammy joined our agency August, 2000 as a receptionist, and in October, 2000 she was promoted to Commercial Lines CSR. She obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative ( CISR ) designation in December 2005. As a licensed Missouri insurance agent, Tammy handles all of our commercial lines changes, billing questions, binders and certificate requests. Theresa joined Scott Agency, Inc in April, 2002, bringing to us a broad background in banking and agricultural industries. She specializes in Personal Lines Insurance, and has been a licensed Missouri insurance agent since November, 2002. Theresa obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative ( CISR ) designation in June 2006. She assists current and prospective clients with quotes and service issues for home, personal automobile and all other personal lines of insurance. Brent joined Scott Agency, Inc in 1977, and has been president of the agency for over 20 years, which involves oversight of three offices and sales manager responsibilities. He became a CIC in 1985, received the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents Person of the Year Award in 2001, and served as president of MAIA from 2008-2009. Brent has served on numerous insurance company agents advisory boards, been a member of local school board, served as president of local Chamber of Commerce and local Kiwanis Club, and is currently serving as president of Montgomery City Growth, Inc, his local community's economic development organization. Brent received a Bachelors Degree from Central Methodist University and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from University of MissouriKansas City. Matt joined the agency in October, 2007 as a producer. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002 with a BA in Business with an emphasis in Finance and Banking. Matt brings with him five years prior experience as a Claims Representative with a regional insurance company, and he earned the Associate in Claims ( AIC ) designation in 2006.
