The College Seminary gives men the opportunity to explore more deeply God's presence and call in their lives through a structured environment of prayer, community life, and intellectual and personal development in order to foster integrated Christian maturity toward discernment and formation for the priesthood of Jesus Christ.Cardinal Glennon College seminarians are sponsored by the Archdiocese of St. Louis and other dioceses and religious communities. Applicants should not apply directly to the College for admittance, but should first contact the proper representative of the Bishop or Provincial Superior, usually the Director of Vocations.Seminarians participate in the human, spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral programs at the Seminary. The first two years of intellectual formation focus primarily upon the study of a liberal arts curriculum, and classes are taught both at the Seminary and St. Louis University. The final two years of intellectual formation focus upon the study of philosophy, taught Cardinal Glennon College of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, which awards the Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy after successful completion of the program.Kenrick-Glennon Seminary is an accredited member of the Higher Learning Commission ( HLC ) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, as well as of the Association of Theological School ( ATS ) in the United States and Canada.
