Cardinal Ritter College Prep

Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School offers an extensive college preparatory curriculum that utilizes the modern learning theories and technology. Its curriculum includes more than 50 courses, and college credit classes are provided through the University of Missouri in St. Louis. The subjects offered include math, English, theology, science, social studies, Spanish, computer science, fine arts and physical education. It sponsors a wide range of extracurricular activities that give students an opportunity to develop their talents and interests, such as fall drama, spring musical, gospel choir, student government, student ambassadors, African drum team, African dancers, brotherhood and sisterhood. Cardinal Ritter s sports activities include football, cross- country, basketball, cheerleading, track and field, volleyball and dance team. The school has been designated as an exemplary school by the Department of Education, and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
