Cameron Mutual

Cameron Mutual Insurance Company is a division of Cameron Insurance Companies, which offers various personal and commercial insurance plans throughout Missouri and Arkansas. Other divisions include Cameron National Insurance Company and Cameron County Mutual Insurance Company. Established in 1892 as the Farmers Mutual Tornado, Cyclone and Windstorm Association of the Third Congressional District, the company was moved to Cameron, Mo., in 1902. In 1907 the name of the company was shortened to State Farmers Mutual Tornado Insurance Company. In 1959 the company was authorized to write casualty insurance. The policyholders voted to once again change the name of the company to Cameron Mutual Insurance Company in 1968. The company writes business in Missouri and Arkansas for a variety of coverage that includes automobile, home owners, home security, business owners, farm owners, dwelling property, personal umbrella, general liability and commercial fire policies.
