Butler County Caring Community

The Community Resource Council (CRC) is a non-profit organization based in Poplar Bluff, MO, dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in Southeast Missouri. As one of twenty Community Partnerships across the state, the CRC brings together social service providers, businesses, agencies, organizations, churches, and the educational system to promote coordination and cooperation in addressing the needs of the community.

With a mission to foster collaboration among human service professionals and interested individuals, the CRC works towards enhancing the well-being of the local population through various programs and initiatives. These include CASA of the 36th Judicial Circuit, FUTURES Young Parent Mentoring Program, AmeriCorp Senior-RSVP Program, and committees focused on children's readiness for school, youth success in education, wellness, domestic violence prevention, juvenile crime reduction, mental health, Missouri reentry process, and drug-free communities. Through its efforts, the CRC aims to create a caring and supportive community where children and families can thrive.
