Brian J Gallagher, DO - BJC HealthCare Parkland Health Center

Brian Gallagher, DO, is a board-certified general surgeon who treats patients ages 13 and older. He performs a wide range of procedures, including endoscopies, hernia repairs, laparoscopic gallbladder removal, in-office vasectomies, port placement, and device-related procedures such as loop recorders and pacemakers. He also provides pre- and postoperative follow-up care. Dr. Gallagher offers comprehensive, patient-centered care by taking the time to understand each patient's unique health needs and circumstances. He actively involves patients in their health care decisions, encouraging open dialogue to ensure they fully understand their medical conditions, treatment options, and outcomes.

Brittany Helms, FNP, is a certified family practice nurse practitioner and certified wound specialist. She specializes in wound care and sees patients 18 years and older. Brittany provides general wound care and treats various wound types, including diabetic foot ulcers, arterial, venous, pressure and neuropathic ulcers, abscesses, crush injuries, burns and post-surgical, traumatic and chronic non-healing wounds. Treatments she provides include debridement, vacuum-assisted wound closure, total contact casts, incision and drainage, compression therapies and the application of skin substitutes.

Azamuddin Khaja, MD, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who sees patients 18 years and older. Dr. Khaja provides treatment for a variety of cardiac and vascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and peripheral arterial and venous diseases. He performs advanced procedures, including cardiac catheterization, peripheral arterial interventions, superficial and deep venous interventions, pacemaker and defibrillator placement, cardiac and vascular ultrasounds and more. Dr. Khaja has the expertise to offer his patients a wide range of care options. He is passionate about providing life-saving interventional cardiology procedures to patients, allowing them to live rewarding lives.
