HistoryDr. Schaefer was born and raised in Independence, Missouri. He is a proud graduate of William Chrisman High School. Dr. Schaefer attended Graceland University for two years before finishing his B.S. degree in Biology at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery, DDS, from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1987. Since then, Dr. Schaefer has made a commitment to advancing his skills and knowledge by attending many continuing education courses and programs. He is currently participating in a comprehensive nine-course curriculum involving esthetics, occlusion, and restorative dentistry at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Schaefer is a valued member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater Kansas City Dental Society, and the Eastern Jackson County Dental Health Group. He is a former member of the Independence Advisory Board of Health.SpecialtiesDr. David A.
