Saint Anthony's Health Center is a more than 300-bed health care facility in Alton, Ill. Comprised of Saint Anthony's and Saint Clare's hospitals, the organization has been operational for more than 50 years. Locally owned and operated by the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George, the center serves more than 10,000 patients annually. Approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, it provides various outpatient and inpatient rehabilitative services, such as occupational, physical, speech, aquatic, balance and pediatric therapies. The center s adult day services include diet counseling, medical treatments, health education, pastoral and spiritual support, music, art, recreation, reminiscence and group therapies, exercises programs, and stress management. It employs more than 500 doctors, nurses, recreation therapists, program managers and administrative and support staff.

Dr. Baumann is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He received his medical degree at Saint Louis University Medical School and completed his residency at Saint Louis University Medical Center. Dr. Bauman is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). Dr. Baumann’s medical interests include routine well woman services and guidance related to family planning, as well as care of normal and high-risk pregnancies.
