Bopp Chapel, incorporated in 1902, started business as a livery service. In 1918, the business evolved into a full-service funeral home. Between 1931 and 1961, the funeral home expanded its presence to two more locations in Clayton and Kirkwood, Mo. Bopp Chapel, family-owned and operated, offers funeral, burial and memorial services such as visitation, prayer and last rites. Funeral directors at Bopp Chapel also guide clients in the pre-arrangement of funeral services. The service, prepaid or postpaid, locks the services of the funeral home and merchandise at prevailing market prices. The funeral home is also actively involved in the community through various nonprofit organizations such as the Rotary Club of Kirkwood, Rotary Club of Crestwood and Lions Club.
