Bank Star of the Boot Heel

Bank Star of the BootHeel, with assets of more than $70 million, is a chartered financial institution that provides service to customers in Pemiscot County in Missouri. The bank offers a variety of financial products and services, including traditional deposit accounts, debit cards, loans, telephone banking, Internet banking and bill pay services. Bank Star of the BootHeel was founded in 1904 as The Bank of Steele. The bank has corporate offices in Steele, Mo., and an additional office in Caruthersville, Mo. It is a subsidiary of Bancstar, a multi-bank holding company based in St. Louis. Bancstar also owns Bank Star in Pacific, Mo.; Bank of the LeadBelt in Park Hills, Mo.; and Bank Star One in Fulton, Mo.
