Backyard Vine & Wine is a small, family-owned vineyard and winery nestled in the serene acreage of Maryville, Missouri. Founded as a retirement project by Carl Christensen, this beautiful vineyard boasts approximately five acres of grapevines intertwined with three ponds, offering a picturesque setting for visitors to enjoy a glass of their terrific Missouri wines.
With the help of family and friends, Carl transformed the land from a tangled mess into a thriving vineyard, planting seven varieties totaling around 2600 plants. Backyard Vine & Wine invites guests to experience their private tours, special events, and a wide range of dry and sweet wines, including their popular Crescent Moon white, Harvest Moon red, and Bumblebee's Delight red, among others.

This little gem is tucked back in the country but well worth the trip. The staff and wine are amazing.
