History

I'm the owner of Auphirah's African Hair Braiding & Locks and I have been doing hair approximately 20 years, I have worked in some of the well known Braiding Salon In Baltimore, Chicago and Kansas City. I first started my bussiness in the year of 2000, in south side Chicago I remember I was 18 years old, skinny and fragile...lol, and did not understand English much at all,but I was driven cause I wanted to make Mama so proud, I had Just moved from Senegal in 1999 into the USA and when I started braiding hair people would stop by and used to stare at me,and I couldn't understand why until my x explained to me that I was braiding to fast, and in that moment I realized I had somet specal here that people are interested about, so I continued doing hair and end up moving In Kansas and open a another hair braiding salon, and it was one of the second Hair Braiding salon that I have known of, and I'm still here doing what I like to do the most which is imaginating and creating hair style
