Anna E. Bailey, MD

My passion for caring for people comes from my family - probably from my mother. She is one of the most caring people that I know and seeing her care for her students in the classroom and seeing her care for her family members around her has just been wonderful. I grew up in that environment of caring and helping out your neighbor.

I work and live in the South City area, and I like helping my neighbors with their health. I have a background in labor and delivery as well as pediatrics, but I was drawn to family and internal medicine because it allows me to get to know my patients as people. Some of my clinical interests are women's health, hormones, anxiety and depression. I'm here to help people through whatever they're facing and care for them nonjudgmentally.

I think a good internal medicine physician should listen closely. Nobody knows your body or what's happening in your life better than you. It's my job to take the information you give me and translate it into a diagnosis or treatment. I want us to work together to find health solutions that are right for you.
