Angelaid
AngelAID is a grass-roots 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Carl and Arlene Shipley in memory of Tashia Butler Shipley, who tragically lost her battle with AIDS due to sexual abuse. Since its inception in 1984, AngelAID has dedicated itself to supporting over 2,000 children in the tri-county Jacksonville area facing terminal illnesses and life-threatening situations.
Through its thrift store and estate sales, AngelAID provides gently used and new items to the community while ensuring that 100% of the profits benefit children in need. The organization continually strives to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families by generating essential operating funds through sales of a wide variety of quality goods.
