Academie Lafayette

Academie Lafayette is a K-8 French language charter school that utilizes a hands-on learning approach to impart education. The school implements cooperative learning structures and independent activities in accordance with the Missouri Show-Me Standards, as well as the standards for foreign language learning established by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. The school is operated by teachers, parents and community groups and enrolls students in the Kansas City Missouri School District. Its curriculum includes programs in communication and visual arts, mathematics, science, history, economics, health and nutrition, earth and physical science and music.
