History

I had always wanted to do photography on a professional level but lacked the camera to be able to do so. I finally replaced my 100% manual 35mm camera with a high quality Digital SLR and started taking some pictures for friends. Those friends started refering their friends to me and then I made business cards and have been taking pictures part time ever since. I do it because I enjoy seeing people faces when I capture those special moments in their lives, not for the money!

Specialties

At 2000 Words Photography we specialize in being not your normal photography studio. We have fewer clients because we build relationships with them. You walk away from your portrait session or wedding with a cd of the unedited photos. Then we edit them and get you another CD of the edited photos. Many times there is very little editing to be done and you can take the CD and print them the next day. Our prices are designed to fit within any budget and give you the same high quality pictures that the more expensive studios do. Give us a call and talk to us about what we can do for you.
