Winston Medical Center has been providing the health care services since 1958. Its emergency department has more than five rooms and 24-hours physician staff. Its surgical services include same day surgery and endoscopy through board-certified surgeons. Its intensive care unit has a telemetry monitoring system and radiology department offers mammography, helical computerized axial tomography scanner, nuclear medicine and ultrasound. The center s turning point program is a more than 10-bed inpatient mental health treatment that addresses the needs of adults 55 and above. The program offers specially designed private rooms and other common areas, such as a dining room, recreational room and television lounge. Its on-call services include an emergency response system, and are located in Louisville, Miss.
