Pine Belt Mental Health Resources is a community-based mental health care center that serves more than 295,000 individuals annually. It offers psychiatric and health care services for individuals with developmental disabilities, chemical dependencies and mental illnesses. The center provides adult day care, case management, crisis intervention and emergency services. It also offers psychological nursing, court-ordered forensic screening, and family and consumer education services. Pine Belt Mental Health Resources provides employee assistance and transitional housing and employment programs, as well as individual, family and group therapies for dual diagnosed patients. It also offers residential, psychosocial and rehabilitative services for senior citizens. The center provides psychological assessment, parenting training, transitional outreach, and school-based day treatment and counseling services. Additionally, it offers behavioral management, family consultation, community-based job placements, and employment and vocational training.
