Summit Wealth Group's inception dates back to 1985 when CEO Randy Morris founded Executive Financial Planning, Inc ( EFP ) with a desire to provide independent, customized advice to clients with a financial planning emphasis. Over the course of the next 17 years, EFP grew to become one of the largest independent financial advisory firms in the nation. The formation of Summit Wealth Group in the fall of 2002 was a deepening of that initial vision. The result a firm that is committed to providing clients with a wider array of customized financial solutions, a superior relational experience, and the time to more fully pursue personal passions and interests. Since establishing our headquarters in Colorado Springs, we have added other offices. In 2005 we opened the Madison, Mississippi branch where we began working with BankFirst, a regional community bank, as well as serving other clients throughout the Southeast. We opened the Denver branch in 2009 and in 2010 we opened the Scottsdale, AZ branch. In addition to working with other clients, our Denver and Colorado Springs offices help to service the needs of Dave Ramsey listeners through an ELP ( Endorsed Local Provider ) servicing agreement. Today, Summit Wealth Group is more committed than ever to an exceptional client experience by providing our clients with a trusted team of financial professionals ; professionals that are intent on developing long term relationships while passionately pursuing excellence. This commitment has placed us in the position of working with more than 800 clients in 34 states, and helping oversee more than $180 million in investable assets.
