Region 8 Mental Health Center

Region 8 provides mental health, intellectual/developmental disability, alcohol and drug services. Located in Hazlehurst, Miss., the center offers various alcohol and drug treatment services, including residential treatment, intensive outpatient treatment program and employee assistance program. Its residential treatment program provides individual and group therapy, extensive classes, lectures and visual presentations. Region 8 provides employee assistance program (EAP) services to companies and agencies statewide on a contractual basis. Its other services include short-term counseling, emergency, crisis services, trauma debriefings and marriage counseling.
